Today, I am sharing how just this one shift in your marketing and messaging can make a HUGE difference in your marketing, your messaging, and in having your clients say a full body YES to working with you – even if you just met.
This is to focus on the BENEFITS of your work and not the FEATURES.
SO often we focus on the “features” of our products and program – it’s 30 days, 6 sessions, only $200 right now for a limited time!
But high-end buyers aren’t looking to buy “stuff” they are looking to invest in “results.”
In other words, they don’t care how you get them there, they just want to know you can help them.
How this shows up in our work…
On your social media posts
On your Instagram post you might be like, “hey I have a special offer for a 90 minute call with me and it’s only $100.”
Even though YOU know how valuable that is and what an amazing deal they are getting – for people who don’t know you or the BENEFITS they are going to receive through doing this call with you so it just registers as buy my thing in their mind.
The same offer but positioned differently to share the RESULTS of this type of experience with you. “Hey guys, I have 3 spots available for high-impact coaching calls this week. We will laser target ONE specific area of your business or life that you are feeling stuck, uncover what’s getting in your way of reaching your next level (that you might not even be aware of) and how to recalibrate your energy and refine your strategy to bring in your next 5 paying clients in 30 days.”
All of a sudden I’m thinking if I bring in 5 clients in 30 days that’s like $3k plus moving out of this funk – that’s priceless… already im thinking this is work at LEAST $500 as I’m writing this I am literally selling myself.
It creates a desire, a vision of what life could be like – like oooo I want THAT. it elicits EMOTION.
On your website
Are you just saying who you are and what you do? Versus the RESULTS you get for people
For example, are you saying I am a psychologist with my PhD in neuroscience or I am a reiki practitioner living in the green mountains of Vermont or I help you overcome your limiting beliefs around loving your body and practice self-care more regularly.
What will this do for ME?
How do you help?
People don’t pay you for your certifications – they pay you for the VALUE you provide in their life.
People don’t pay you to get rid of their beliefs – what opens up for them once they do?
For example: “I help busy moms get back their pre-baby body without dieting, pills, or surgery”
Instead of saying I am a business coach for women entrepreneurs…
Try “I help holistic entrepreneurs replace their 9-5 income with a six-figure online business so that they can set their own schedule, travel the world, and truly make a difference.”
When selling your programs
What makes an offer high-end, and highly valuable, is the RESULT it gets for your people.
SO just notice if this shows up in your sales pages or when sharing what you do with people or in your sales calls.
Are you saying “I just put together this Mastermind I think you would love it. Do you want to hop on a call?”
Instead, try “Hey NAME, I have been pouring my heart and soul into this new mastermind that I think you would LOVE and get so much out of… we are going to dive deep into the energetics of expanding into your next level of income, I will help you map out your entire year so that you can double or even triple your income, and you will have an incredible sisterhood of support to help you stay accountable to your bigger vision and make it happen in the next 3 months. Does this sound like something you might be interested in?”
