All my life I was told I would need to choose EITHER doing work that made a difference OR making enough money to provide for a family, travel, and pay the bills.
As a highly sensitive little girl with an affinity for helping others, saving bugs, making art, and spending all her time in nature, I was naturally drawn toward what made me feel connected to Spirit and of service to others.
But as I started out in my professional career I was told that I was too “nice” to be successful by bosses, that I needed to find a “real job” by my parents, and that I was “crazy” for wanting to leave my cushy 9-5 job with benefits from all my friends.
YET DEEP DOWN I KNEW I WAS MEANT FOR MORE.
When I finally took the leap to start my own business and leave my full-time job I was absolutely terrified. How do I choose which of these gazillion ideas to turn into a business or program? How do I know what to offer? What to charge? Are people actually going to pay me? What if I tell my friends and family that I’m quitting my job to “follow my purpose” and totally fail and need to go back to my soul-sucking day job?
I had listened to enough TED Talks and self-help podcasts to know that it was just “fear” talking, but daaayum did it feel convincing.
Starting out I had no audience, no trust fund or partner to rely on, and no experience in my field. But, I knew in my heart I would be successful if I just “put in the work.”
So I did what all the “marketing gurus” were saying to do to build my business... I tried growing my email list, but had no consistent clients, I spent thousands of dollars on websites and hundreds of hours launching courses that made no money, and I was working 14 hour days making $25k a YEAR... I felt totally unaligned, burnt out, and honestly wanted to give up.
The truth I know now is that doing work aligned with your higher purpose IS 100% possible...but you need to know the “HOW” of starting and growing a successful business the RIGHT WAY.
In an effort to be “successful” I was totally ignoring my own intuition and trying to follow someone else’s rules. The irony was that I had become a Health Coach originally because I figured out how to heal my relationship with food not by following a rigid set of rules… but instead by surrendering to Spirit, taking actions aligned with who I wanted to be, lovingly caring for myself, and trusting the process of transformation.
As it turns out, just like you can’t “diet” your way into a healthy relationship with your body, you can’t “grind” your way into an easeful career that makes you feel free.
So, I stopped doing all the things I thought I “should” be doing, threw out the business rule book (probably written by a white man anyways) and embraced business minimalism (doing the most with the least), authentic connections over creating flashy marketing funnels, refused to adopt push-y sales tactics, and finally detoxed from comparing myself to everyone else on the internet.
Instead, I prioritized my connection to Source (my own inner wisdom) and living a rich, abundant life NOW, not when I made millions.
Hearing my phone “ding” with new payment notifications while traveling through Tuscany, I finally knew I was “living the dream.”

As I practiced this more simple, spacious, fun and aligned approach to business and life EVERYTHING started to change.... and I hit multiple six-figures in just a few short years, while traveling the world and falling in love.
I knew I had finally cracked the code on making money while creating a life I actually got to ENJOY in the process, and now I love helping other soul-centered women do the same.
It turns out that when you use this more aligned, feminine, approach to business + life miracles happen.
My life isn’t perfect (but honestly I think that’s why people like me). I’ve definitely been through the ups and downs of the entrepreneurial journey and made a LOT lot of mistakes along the way.
