If you haven’t heard your health nut friends sing the praises of their coveted Vitamix, here are my top 5 reasons why this Vitamix will totally rock your world…
TOP 5 REASONS YOU’LL LOVE having a VITAMIX
1. SMOOTHies. That is right, who knew that the smoothness of a smoothie could get so dang smooth. Seriously, I don’t know why I love this so much, but I do. Every smoothie I make is like liquid silk, which makes it super easy to drink your greens without flecks of spinach in your teeth by the time you get to the office.
2. Gluten-free and otherwise unbelievable fresh flour right at your fingertips. You heard me right – this puppy can make super fine flour out of basically any grain you have in your cabinets: rice, oats, millet, you name it, which makes it an amazing companion if you have dietary restrictions. You’ll need the dry adapter to make flour using this Vitamix, but it’s totally worth it. There is nothing like baked goods make with fresh flour – trust me.
3. Super easy clean up. You just throw some hot water in there, a squirt of soap and crank it up for a second or two and wah-la! You are all cleaned up and ready to be on your way.
4. Souper easy soup. (get it? heh heh). But seriously. I made this soup using it and it was blended to a perfectly smooth consistency in just a few seconds.
5. Homemade nut butters and nut milks. Ok, I don’t know how I saved this for last, but I started making my own almond milk with my Vitamix and it changed my life. Seriously. I prefer it to regular milk 10 fold and as I always say, when the most delicious option is also the healthiest option, you are on your way to having an amazing life and a body to match. (Psst – if you want to see what you have to look forward to with nut milks, check out my video here).

I will make almond flour! or hazelnut milk! and daily smoothies!!! and, probably the third thing I’d make is vegan chocolate mouse (cocoa, agave, avocado, cashews)

Mmmm, sounds great Luna! I love the raw dressings idea!
I’ll be making almond milk and SMOOTHies. I currently use a magic bullet to make smoothies and it doesn’t grind up green leafs too well. This way I can experience what a real smoothie should taste like and I can save money by not buying almond milk.

I hear you Briana! Before I bought my Vitamix I was using one I got for free in college that was cracked and barely worked and spelt like something was burning every time I used it – new appliances can make a world of difference, and the wait makes it that much more enjoyable! Wishing you luck!! xo.

I can testify it is delish! I especially like making it with cacao nibs for sprinkles – yum! Thanks for entering Brooke! xo

My blender broke a month ago and I’ve been using my food processor for stuff – including your delicious butternut squash soup recipe! We have it about once a week now. I’d make that and my green smoothies. Thanks for the chance to win one!
Love it Shayne! I am sure you and your family would get some good use out of it! Brian told me he is loving the butternut squash soup! So glad 🙂 xo
I would rig it up to my car engine so that I could make smoothies at the farm!
Wow, that sounds kind of amazing Hannah!! xo
I want to learn how to make nut butters…yumm
If I win the Vitamix I am going to make soap!
Just kidding. As I scrolled quickly through the comments I kept misreading “soup” as “soap” and each time I did that I would think- Really? You can make soap in a Vitamix? Well, I am not surprised because it seems like the Vitamix can make anything…
I am embarrassed to say that this millisecond thought process happened a number of times, probably due to all the toxins I have built up in my body from eating too much breakfast pastry. I hope I win the Vitamix so that I can blend my way to health.
Loved reading this Sarah! And yes, you probably can make soap with the Vitamix – this thing is a wizard. Best of luck!! xo

I would love to make some homemade almond butter with this Vitamix!
Smoothie bowl!!
Hi 🙂 I am a vegan and therefore make a lot of nicecreams, raw cakes and plantbased milks. I will soon be going off to a UNI and therefore won’t be able to do any of this as I use my parents tools currently. Our mixer isn’t very strong therefore I often have to use a blender, but I believe that VITAMIX could do it all in one 😀
I would definitelly make some hemp milk and GREEN smoothies. And my favourite – HUMMUS!! 😀
Thank you for this amazing giveaway <3

I’m not a smoothie gal but, boy, do I love to puree veggies! Probably the first thing I’d do is puree a ton of butternut squash and/or pumpkin, using/freezing it as a base for baked goods, soups, chili – you name it! (I seriously love winter squash). After that, I’d start making my own flours.
Wishing luck to all!
I’ve wanted one of these for a while now! I want to make everything with it–soups, nut butters, smoothies, juice, etc etc!
I love my smoothies, but would be stoked to try some soups!
All sorts of things!

Maybe this year will be the one! Xoxox thanks for your great blog!
Ever since you showed healthy recipes you make using your Vitamix, I’ve started exploring blenders and I think I would love one of these. I could make so many soups and smoothies.
I’ve always wanted a vitamix – for so many things wonderful – creamy soups (without the cream), smoothies, dips – that’s just a start.
I would love to make butternut squash soup. And my blender just broke… so…
I want to make all sorts of delicious soups this winter!
This is great, thanks Krissy! My mom has a Vitamix and we enjoy making soups in it throughout the fall and winter – I’d love to have one of my own!
Hi Krissy!!! You rock!

I’d love to receive this vitamix. I am going through a particular health challenge and having this would help support me in taking my health & wellness to the next level. I’ve had a Blendtec but am not as impressed w the quality. Thank you for your valuable content and for this opportunity!
Thanks for the comment Lisa. I wish you the best of luck. With love, Krissy
I would love to make nut butters.
Smoothies of course and then on to trying everything else in it!!
Haha perfect Anna! xo Krissy
Pureeing veggies from our farm share! Thank you.
Love it Marcia! I’ve been roasting fall squashes and then blending them with veggie stock in my Vitamix for super simple yet wonderfully complex soups. Good luck! xo Krissy
I would start with some smoothie recipes if I won this Vitamix.
I would love to win this, thanks!
My family has been trying to replace one meal a day with a healthy smoothie and this would be great for it. A couple of my kids aren’t fans of veggies so it’s a great way to get some in their diet without them really knowing.
Sounds perfect Amie! Xo krissy
I have been really wanting a vitamix ever since I started drinking green smoothies. My basic blender just doesn’t get those leafy greens smooth. They say you should chew your smoothies but I’d rather not HAVE to! I recently started making my own hemp milk, and have yet to experiment with other nut milks but would love to be able to do so more easily. I also am curious about making my own flour. I can’t even imagine all the uses I would find for a vitamix if I won one!! 🙂 🙂
Love this Anna! Thanks for your comment! xo Krissy
Green Smoothies!!!
I’m trying to get back to eating healthy after going through some things that REALLY knocked me out of my good habits so I would be making lots of green smoothies and green soups!!!
Hi Deb! Sorry to hear about the setback but VERY happy to hear you are moving back in the direction you want to go. This is the key. Best of luck and lots of love, xo Krissy

I would love to make green juices and soups with a Vitamix! It would be a great product to have- thank you for the opportunity! Xo!
I’d start by making breakfast smoothies for my kids. Smoothies seem like the perfect way to get tons of fruit, veggies, and healthy fats and proteins into their growing bodies (and mine, too). And then…soups, pancake batter, almond milk, hummus, etc., etc. 🙂
I want to be healthy and would love to start making some amazing recipes!
I would start by making smoothies, soups, salad dressings, and sorbet.
coconut kale smoothie!!!
coconut water, coconut meat, dates, kale, frozen banana, maple syrup or agave
🙂 it’s the best and only a vitamix could get down the right smooth texture.
I love to cook but have trouble finding time with my work schedule and lack efficiency in my kitchen. II would feed my family home cooked meals each day. Although I try to do this now, I want to step it up a notch with soups, nut butters and other homemade treats to keep myself and my family healthy!
I’d live to win. If I do it will help me get and stay healthy
Id love to win!

I’ll be making my morning smoothies and lots of great soup recipes. I also chop up all my compost for my worm factory…so I’ll be doing that, too!!
Hi Jeanne! This is the first I’ve heard of using a Vitamix for a worm factory – love it!! My yoga teacher I lived with used worms for composting and her garden was one of the best I’ve seen! Best of luck! xoxo Krissy
If I win the Vitamix, there are so many things that I would make, starting with green smoothies! Then some nut butters, and the butternut squash soup sounds wonderful!
Sounds great Barbara!! xo Krissy
Would love to win this for soups, smoothies and more!
Love it Krystal!! Thanks for commenting – good luck!!! xoxo Krissy
Ahhhmazing! Saw these at Costco yesterday and the nice gentlemen who was making and giving out samples made me a BIG personal smoothie because no one else was around at the time. Made my night! So if I did have one, I would first make my favorite smoothie – maca, cocoa, bananas, protein, peanut butter, chia seeds & hemp seeds… it’s the best ever and is really filling. Then try lots of new and exciting recipes! Thanks Krissy!
OH my Krissy… I’ve just learned about this amazing machine. I would start with smoothies for my 3 kiddos and then soups for me!!
I’ve wanted a Vitamix for so long!!! I will make nut milks and nut butters, and smoothies all the time for myself and my friends/family/roommate. My favorite thing to make when I’ve had access to a Vmix is a chocoalte “mousse” made out of cashews and cacao and more. Fingers crossed!
Umm…I’m gonna be makin’ aallllll the smoothies! Fingers crossed for this 🙂
Haha love it Briana! Good luck! xoxo, Krissy
Smoothies smoothies smoothies. Feeling a huge draw to cleanse once I get through the next couple of weeks!
I have wanted a vitamix for years just haven’t quite been able to take the plunge. I want one so I can more easily make almond milk for my daughter (my old blender is terrible!) and for making gluten free flours so I can bake bread for my husband who found out this year he is gluten sensitive. After over 30 years of eating gluten it’s been a hard transition! Breakfast has been tough for him without bread so more smoothies would be nice alternative to juicing. Such an awesome giveaway. So awesome to see you’re doing so well Krissy!!
Hi Meredith! I hear you with the transition off gluten! I had to make the same switch last year and there is definitely some transition. I do notice though that one of the most significant impacts was switching from bagels with cream cheese in the morning to smoothies and WOW – what a difference! Good luck!! xoxo Krissy
