Hey Beautiful!
I hope you’re out and about traveling safely to your Thanksgiving rendezvous or maybe cozying-out your place and stocking the fridge for the upcoming festivities… or perhaps you’re at work counting the hours until a well deserved day off :). Wherever you are right now I bet you have one thing on your mind: Thanksgiving. Food. Family. Oh boy, here we go.
I don’t know about you but for me Thanksgiving was always a holiday of mixed emotions.
On the one hand I’d be psyched to see my family, have a day off, and get a chance to eat some of my favorite foods that only come around once a year.
And the other hand I’d usually have a pit in my stomach like I was about to enter a battle that I knew I was going to lose. I knew it because I had lost the internal battle many many many times over throughout the years.
It went something like this:
“I’ll eat a little now so I don’t eat too much at the party (Shape magazine says so), ok just a couple bites of this appetizer…oh man that was way more than a couple bites…oh well it’s ok I’ll only eat a little bit at dinner.”
Dinner would come out and without even a trace of physical hunger in my belly I’d start loading up my plate until I had just enough space left to squeeze on a warm roll with a slathering of butter.
“Ok I’ll just eat some of this, there is no way I can eat ALL of this.”
But then, of course, I did.
Then there’d be seconds, then dessert and before you knew it all my good intentions were out the window and I was left on the couch, stuffed, exhausted, and trying to hide my bulging belly with my mom’s throw pillows.
This scene played out for years (like 15 of them…) until I discovered a few simple steps that I could take leading up to and on Thanksgiving Day that made all the difference. I assembled some of the most powerful strategies I’ve found in a special Thanksgiving Survival Guide Video…my gift to you.
If my story resonates with you and you are ready to try doing Thanksgiving a little differently this year, then I think you’ll find these strategies to be total game-changers.
I truly hope this guide helps you to discover a new way to approach the holiday that’ll have your belly flatter come Friday, AND give you a deeper sense of freedom around food so you can focus on what really matters.
Be sure to leave a comment below with which technique you will use this year so we can support you.
Wishing you a wonderful holiday filled with lots of love,
xoxo,
Krissy
