Ridiculously easy. Ridiculously healthy. Ridiculously good!
This is one of my favorite dips, based off a recipe for raw muhammara dip from Nutritionist Kimberly Snyder.
I made a similar dip last night for the folks in my Delicious Spring Detox Class in Middlebury, Vermont and it was a total hit (with seasoned detox-ers and newbies alike)!
This dip can be used as a salad dressing, veggie dip, or savory sauce in a bowl of steamed veggies and quinoa or your other favorite pairing. Make a batch at the beginning of the week and enjoy it in a variety of ways!
All you need is the following ingredients, blender, and less than 5 minutes to whip it together. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
- 2 cups diced red peppers
- 1/2 cup raw walnuts (soaked in warm water for 15 minutes)
- 1 small-to-medium clove of garlic, minced
- 1 Tablespoon nutritional yeast
- 1/4 teaspoon rock salt (or regular salt)
- 1/2 tablespoon lemon
- 1 drop liquid stevia
- 1/4 tsp cumin
- pinch cayenne pepper
Directions:
Place all ingredients in a high speed blender and blend on high until smooth (check it out in action below!)
