Women, Food and Yoga will help you feel amazing in your body and help you stop worrying and stressing about food so that you can have the energy and freedom to live life on your own terms.

This program combines proven strategies for setting and sticking with your goals, weekly group coaching where you’ll learn new nutrition and health information and how to apply it in your life, a weekly yoga practice to tone and strengthen your body and calm your mind, fresh, delicious and healthy foods to try and recipes to recreate them yourself, and a kick-ass support system of local women who are dedicated to your success so you can make this the year that you become your most happy, healthy and radiant self.
In this class series you will…
- Learn which foods are best for you and your body (say goodbye to late night google searches, confusion and self-doubt) and which foods might be secretly sabotaging your health, so you can start feeling better right away.
- Benefit from a small group setting, where you’ll get the the support and accountability to make small, powerful changes to create the healthy body and lifestyle you want.
- Learn proven techniques for being healthy (not hungry) so you can balance your weight without dieting, deprivation, or feeling the urge to go wildly off track.
- Understand WHY you reach for the Ben and Jerry’s, overdo it on the wine, or devour the bread basket at dinner and how to turn this around so that your body and decisions reflect your knowledge and know-how (hint: “knowing what to do” to be healthy will never be enough to create lasting change unless you understand this one key insight!)
- Learn simple techniques for relaxing the mind, releasing stress in the body, and improving health and digestion so you can finally relax around food.
- Start creating a new relationship to food and your body. No more hating your thighs and avoiding mirrors. You’ll learn how to feed your body what it needs and wants without being afraid of the chip aisle, avoiding dinners out with friends, or worrying about counting calories, points or carbs.
In Women, Food and Yoga, you’ll experience…
- Having a Support Sister. Someone who understands exactly how you feel as you’re going through the program. You and your Sister will provide each other support between sessions and help each other stay on track as you grow toward a healthier lifestyle that supports you and your dreams.
- Getting weekly handouts and resources that inspire and motivate you as you create a body and life you love.
- Trying out new foods and ingredients that will have you feeling confident in the kitchen and impressing even the biggest skeptics.
- Leaving each session with a personalized action plan so you know exactly what steps to take each week to keep you on the road to freedom.

In order to give you personalized attention, space is limited. Women Food and Yoga meets Thursday nights from 6-8pm in the beautiful Chai space above Dobra Tea in Burlington (80 Church Street). Six-week series. Dates: 2/12, 2/19, 2/26, 3/5, 3/19 (no in-person meeting week of 3/12).

Session 2: February 19th – What to eat: a personalized and intuitive approach to food
Session 3: February 26th – “Turn ons” for igniting your metabolism, stoking your digestive fire, and balancing your weight without giving up chocolate, bread, or wine.
Session 4: March 5th – What are you hungry for? A new perspective on nourishment that will help you conquer your cravings once and for all.
Session 5: March 12th – Integration and adventure week (no in-person meeting)

Before working with Krissy I had been dieting my whole life. Getting healthy always included giving up the things I loved (like dinner parties, nights out with my husband, and wine!). Food always had a cost, whether it was points or calories or some other thing I needed to worry about. After working with Krissy I actually enjoyed going out for walks and I have lost weight without ever feeling like I was dieting.
Krissy has helped me so much and in so many ways: I now eat many more healthy foods – especially greens, whole grains and legumes – and I actually crave them! I exercise regularly! Amazing. Truly amazing. I feel stronger, more fit, and have better posture.
