Let me be clear. This is not a starve-yourself-skinny diet plan or the next best way to lose 10-pounds in 10 days. I am not that kind of coach…and for good reason. The truth is: I’ve tried that method and it just doesn’t work. If you’ve found your way here I am guessing you discovered the same thing.
Instead, it’s about losing the weight once and for all: the weight you carry on your body, in your mind, and through your life. This is a course in true and lasting freedom.
I spent most of my life dieting, cleansing, and trying to lose weight quick and for good, and all I was left with was a shelf of books and unopened fitness DVDs, a closet full of clothes that still didn’t fit, and a overwhelming sense that I might never, ever be comfortable or confident in a bathing suit at the beach. This is where our work begins. I’ll guide you through looking at your health, weight, and relationship with food. You’ll have an opportunity to identify where you’ve been tripped up in the past and get crystal clear on your goals and your vision for your ideal you. With this as our starting point, I’ll know exactly how to help you go from obsessive about food to obsessing about your amazing life.
You and I will have a majorly transformative Skype date where we’ll have 90 minutes completely dedicated to focusing in on your vision for your body and life. During this session, we’ll identify your short- long-term goals. We’ll assess what has and hasn’t worked for you in the past and create an action plan so that you’ll know exactly what needs to happen over the next six months to reach your goals.
We’ll meet at our scheduled time every other week to ensure that you keep moving toward your goals. You’ll talk, I’ll listen. I’ll give you the space and clarity you need to indentify what’s lighting you up and uncover what might be keeping you stuck. I’ll ensure you are on track to get to your goals and I’ll hold you accountable for reaching them. I may ask you to plan a candlelit dinner for one, or buy a hot new outfit, or try out a new dance class. I might have you do some detective work with gluten or journal with your inner 13-year old self. You’ll leave each session with a set of recommendations, a full set of notes, and a free gift from me, which might be a favorite new healthy indulgence, a must-read book, homemade body oil, or a total surprise.
