Do THIS Now – the results will amaze you!

blogpost-TEMPLATE2

Hello beauty!

Today I have something short and sweet for you, but it packs a big punch when it comes to having more energy, transforming your body, and reaching your goals (not just for your health but for all areas of your life!)

My personal goal this week was to take imperfect action in reaching out to you because…

imperfect action is better than no action at all

So lucky you, you get to see my unedited, sweaty post-workout self! No fancy hair, or make up, just the message. You’ll see why this was so important in just a second.

Click the video below to see my challenge for you.

Now it’s your turn!

Take action NOW. What is one thing you KNOW you could be doing that would make a big impact on your health and in your day-to-day life?

Say it loud and proud in the comments below so we can cheer you on! (Not seeing the comments section? Click the title of the post above).

  • Hi Krissy)
I am going to ride my bike into town 10 miles to my gym, where I would normally drive! The weather is wonderfully warm and the ride is a small challenge that I can definately give to my Self. I will also get some Vitamin D and nature time in the process!
    Thanks for the inspiration!

    • Awesome Lisa! This sounds FANTASTIC! and FUN! Which day will you take your bike ride? Once you’ve marked it in your calendar, please report back so that we can hold you accountable πŸ™‚ xoxo Krissy

    • Hey Anne! Good seeing you this morning! This sounds like a great way to get moving in the right direction! If you see this, I’d love to hear more about your routine – what works for you? It might just inspire us to do it too! πŸ™‚ LOVE that you chose to begin tonight – way to take action and get to it! Is there an alarm on your phone or another reminder you can create for yourself to remember to do it and why it is important to you? xoxo Krissy

  • This is hard to admit, but I’m proud of myself so I am sharing. About a year ago I went through a difficult time in my life and started smoking after having not for 8 years. This past Monday I quit once again. Succeeding at this will move me forward in ways I haven’t even thought of yet!

    • Hey Jess! Thanks so much for this brave share. Smoking was something I struggled with myself for years and I know how frustrating it can be when your actions don’t match the person you want to be. CONGRATS on taking this major step forward for your health and for committing to this higher version of yourself! When it comes to addiction there are 3 (at least) crucial steps: addressing the physiological addiction, and then the mental/habitual, and finally the emotional/spiritual. You are well on your way with the first two so please acknowledge how far you have come! Thirdly, what can you do use to replace the pleasure, enjoyment, relaxation and quiet moments with yourself that you once needed smoking to fulfill? Is there 1 or 2 things you can do for yourself this week to get that from a new source? xoxo Krissy

  • Hi Krissy! Thanks for the challenge! Since I’m already walking I really need some more flexibility training. I’m committing to doing one -3 full sets of the yoga moves which includes the sun salutation, downward dog, cobra, plank, etc. Not sure what it’s called but have done it before and its great! I’m also going to check out the downtown Nia schedule again! Time to vary it up a bit!

    • Love this Gina! Sounds like you know yourself quite well! πŸ™‚ Here are a few bonus tips for making it happen: One of my all-time favorite (and effective!) strategies for actually getting a yoga practice in is to wear my yoga clothes to bed and roll out my mat the night before. I find my friends and clients love this too because it makes the healthy choice the EASIEST choice (I mean really, who wants to have to take off the yoga clothes and step over their mat to get on with their day! ;)) Give it a try! I also find that finding a teacher you like and a time that works for your schedule and STICKING WITH IT is extremely helpful in “getting to yoga” regularly. Again, it’s all about making it easy on yourself!

  • Hello from Montana!

This weekend is supposed to be beautiful! So, I am going to make an effort to hike with the dogs. I have been spending most of my time doing Barre classes, inside…. I need cardio and vitamin D!

    xoxo,

    Shawnna

    • MMMM YESS! Love this Shawna! You’ve got me excited FOR YOU! Enjoy your hike! Maybe you can post a pic of the view to the Facebook page! πŸ˜‰ xoxo Krissy

  • I have been trying to commit to giving myself 30 minutes a day to focus on me and do some sort of exercise. This challenge just might help give me that extra boost! I’ll start tonight by taking the dog for a walk when I get home and before I start dinner. Thanks for the push!!

    • Sounds great Cari!! Way to take action! Let us know how it goes and how it makes you FEEL! The best part about exercise is it creates MOMENTUM. It gets easier the more you do it! I hope this helps you cultivate more of the energy you want in your day! xoxo Krissy
